What we do
Africa Study Centre will provide policy research, analysis and advisory which is independent of self serving entities political, governmental and advocacy groups. We aim to be an informed and independent voice in policy debates and by identifying and evaluating policy issues and programs. It also necessary to converge together inorder to transform ideas and emerging challenges into policy statement for larger good. We will share our constructive forum for the partake of knowledge between key stakeholders in a robust social change vehicle by facilitating the construction of affirmative change networks.
Our activities involved in achieving these targets involve a balance between research, action and outreach. We will frame policy issues, create research reports, authored publications, articles, policy notes and conducting evaluations of both government and non programs. Our scholars will further spread their findings by conducting outreach activities, create pan Africa networks and exchanges via workshops, seminars, and on ground projects.
Africa Study Centre is a non-profit organization lead by disciplined, culturally aligned, academic individuals whose main motto in life is to focus on organically nurturing a society whose feet stand firmly on the foundations of their ancestral achievements while striving to pave a true way to further the future generations.
The prominent issue that concerns us is the intellectual brain drain to our neighboring continents that makes Africa weak and slows our growth despite all what we have with us.
We do not want to lose our future intellectuals, doctors, engineers, artists, thinkers, philosophers, craftsmen and others so we ensure that we nurture the raw and budding talent.
We offer fellowship, grants & scholarships to people of merit and we aim to establish relationships with academic institutions in Africa. Apart from nurturing scholars, we also indulge in organizing meaningful events, lectures & symposiums to cherish the tribal, spiritual & ancient wisdom of Africa.
